What does Abbey Road mean to you?

"In my opinion, Abbey Road is the home of recorded music. It's where almost everyone who makes, records or even just listens to music can trace inspiration.

Even if they don't realise it! It'll be where their favourite artists' hero recorded or where the music from their favourite movie was scored."

What are some of the most memorable projects you’ve worked on and why?

"I've worked on a lot over the years! The Paolo Nutini Abbey Road Live Sessions I recorded a few years ago in Studio Two came out really well.

It was also a major buzz the first time I worked on a Bond score and the orchestra stated playing the Bond Theme. So iconic.

I thought Thomas Newman's score for 1917 was amazing and really enhanced the incredible story and visuals.

Recently we had Surf Curse in Studio Three and I loved the raw energy of the sessions!

It was also nice to see Sam Smith's Unholy hit number one! I was great to record the strings and choir for the upcoming album."

What have you learned in your time at Abbey Road?

"So much! We are fortunate to work with incredible people from all over the world and I think you can learn and take inspiration from pretty much any session. I try to keep evolving as an engineer, keep things fresh."

What do you most enjoy about your role?

"Hopefully my answers above highlight that I love the variety of sessions musical diversity we get coming through our doors!"
