Round-the-clock Technical ExpertiseOur in-house Technical Services Department has a broad and deep set of skills to respond to the wide range of technical requirements at Abbey Road. From the knowledge to maintain classic microphones to understanding the latest technologies, there is always something to learn and do at the studios.
Alongside the round-the-clock technical support to all areas of the studios' business, the team is responsible for managing technical infrastructure and equipment installations across all studios and mastering rooms. The team is actively encouraged to develop in-house bespoke solutions - electronic audio units, IT hardware and software - where something off-the-shelf just might not do. This is a long-held Abbey Road tradition that we are all keen to uphold.
