Meet Rachel Furner – Abbey Road’s Songwriting Masterclass

3rd October 2019
As part of the ongoing partnership between Abbey Road Studios and BBC Music Introducing, we are delighted to be returning to Tobacco Dock with the Abbey Road Production Hub at this year's BBC Music Introducing Live. Returning with our world-class recording and mastering engineers, we will also be leading a discussion on the art of songwriting, sharing invaluable advice and insights for the next generation of musical talent. The panel will be moderated by Abbey Road's Jack Lintorn who will be joined by Maverick Sabre, Grime artist Novelist and British songwriter Rachel Furner. The audience will also have the opportunity to ask the panel their questions.

Our first panelist for Abbey Road Studios’ Songwriting Masterclass is multi-platinum selling British songwriter, Rachel Furner.

Rachel started her songwriting career from a very early age, signing her first publishing deal as a teenager. Performing as an artist at the time, Rachel toured the U.K., released a number of singles and joined several high profile tours as a supporting artist. Furner decided to leave the artist career behind her, finding that songwriting suited her more naturally, and signed to Universal Music Publishing as a songwriter. She has now gone on to have cuts that have amassed over one billion streams worldwide including songs with Little Mix, The Vamps and Craig David, working internationally with some of the biggest names in songwriting.

We are delighted to have Rachel join us as part of the panel where she will be sharing her invaluable experience and answering your questions. Book your tickets now.
