Abbey Road Equalise Returns for 2026 to Champion the Next Generation of Female and Non-Binary Music Creatives

This International Women’s Day, Abbey Road announces the return of Abbey Road Equalise for 2026,
its annual programme dedicated to building a more balanced and inclusive music industry.

Taking place across the first week of March in London, with Manchester dates to be announced, Equalise invites aspiring female and non-binary producers, engineers, artists and creatives to take part in immersive, hands-on recording workshops inside the world’s most iconic recording studios.

Each day, eight participants will gain rare behind-the-scenes access to live recording sessions led and engineered by Abbey Road’s female engineering team. Attendees will observe, participate and contribute as some of the most exciting artists of 2026 record new music in real time.

Designed to provide foundational skills, industry insight and meaningful access, Equalise taps into Abbey Road’s expertise, network and unique creative resources. Participants will learn about studio etiquette, microphone selection, live room and control room setup, and the technical and creative decisions that shape professional recordings.

Throughout the day, engineers will lead demonstrations, share knowledge and open the floor to questions - creating an environment that is collaborative, educational and empowering.
