The line-up continues to grow for our Amplify 90th anniversary festival as we’re delighted to be welcoming BBC Radio 1’s Abbie McCarthy as she hosts an intimate conversation with one of the true pioneers of the grime scene, Jammer. Abbie will sit down with Jammer in Studio One to discuss his musical journey so far; how he started, what inspires him and his biggest lessons learned.

About Jammer

Jammer is one of Grime’s forefathers. He can also be crowned as one of the most energetic performers from the scene as a former member of NASTY Crew and now Boy Better Know.

For nearly two decades, Jammer has proudly stood with the scene, pushing and escalating its progression.  It was back in 2004 that Jammer set out to record Grime’s history, as one of the creators of Lord Of The Mics, a platform that seeks to elevate underground UK street culture and its artists.

Driven by love and passion for music, Jammer produced so far 8 instalments of Lord Of The Mics DVD series that nurture generations on Grime’s rawest and acts as a time capsule for some of the most iconic clashes ever witnessed. Jammer’s dynamic ability transpire through his work as MC and Producer allowing him to collaborate with influential artists and brands across the world.
