You asked, and we listened! Today marks the release of an exciting new update for our Topline app, bringing a wholehost of new functionality to the App that further cements it as the go-to solution for singers and songwriters looking to capture song ideasin the moment. We worked closely with London based artists, Indigo Palace,to design and implement these updates as-per the requests of musicians using the App. The band have helped advise onTopline since its creation and were the first artists to release a song written on Topline, along with fellow musicianBLOOM. Indigo Palace recently appeared in a Sky News Broadcast discussing Topline and the many technological innovations being made by the studio in 2018. Take a look below at the latest features to be added to the app: Volume adjustment: Based on feedback from our users, we have now added volume controls for each track.
Users now have the opportunity to mix their tracks before exporting and sharing for an improved listening experience.Users can tap the volume icon to mute and unmute or hold down volume icon to adjust the volume. Undo Button: The undo button lets users clear their last recording action. If youve tried to record over something and made a mistake, you can now press the undo button to revert to your previous recording. Tracks can still be cleared fully by clicking on the three dots and selecting clear track. The Undo button can be found to the right of the record button. User Tips: We have added some tips on how to use the new features and notifications to plug in your headphones when recording for the best experience. Tap the volume icon to mute, tap again to unmute Hold down / force touch the volume icon to bring up volume control plug in your headphones when recording for the best experience. To develop Topline, we worked closely with emerging songwriters and producers from across London to understand their creative needs. They all shared a big concern about losing original song ideas either through not being able to capture them easily when they occurred or by finding it impossible to locate them later. We decided to solve this challenge for artists by designing an intuitive and ingeniously simple to use app with music at its heart.
