The 14 classic song collection features new vocals from Neil Diamond paired with new interpretations of Diamond’s most celebrated chart-topping hits performed by the London Symphony Orchestra. The LP was recorded at both Abbey Road Studios in London and Diamond's studio in Los Angeles, overseen by two fellow Grammy-winners, producer Walter Afanasieff and conductor William Ross, who also led the orchestra for the recording.

The celebrated song was written by Diamond with Burt Bacharach and Carole Bayer Sager, and inspired by the smash hit film E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial.
Before today's release, the legendary singer also shared perhaps his most loved song, Sweet Caroline. Written in 1969, Sweet Caroline reached the top 10 in 1971 in the UK, and became a stadium anthem around the world.
