Taking place from 29 March – 1 April 2026 at Abbey Road Studios in London, the workshop will bring together a select group of emerging songwriters, artists and producers from across the UK for an intensive week of collaboration, creativity and professional development.

Led by Kid Harpoon, the programme will create space for participants to write, collaborate and develop their craft within the setting of a professional recording studio. Alongside a group of some of the UK’s most exciting new voices, the workshop will also spotlight an undiscovered artist and producer, fostering cross-collaboration and creative exchange.

Kid Harpoon is the producer and writer behind global hits for Harry Styles, Miley Cyrus, Lizzo, Kings of Leon and Florence + The Machine.

The initiative reflects a shared commitment from Kid Harpoon, Y-O-U-N-G and Abbey Road to nurture new talent and help remove barriers to opportunity within the industry. Participants will gain hands-on experience, mentorship and the chance to build meaningful connections.

Applications are open now and will close on Sunday 8 March 2026 at 11:59pm GMT. Entry is free via ballot. Applicants must be UK-based and aged 18 or over. Abbey Road will review all submissions and contact selected participants directly with full session details.
