Our audio tech incubator, Abbey Road Red, will present the most exciting music tech innovations on the afternoon of Tuesday 12 March 2019 at British Music Embassy - Latitude 30, 512 San Jacinto Blvd, Austin. They will produce an enlightening afternoon of three Red Talks and a networking lunch. The talks will explore the most influential trends in music creation, distribution and consumption by the very founders and experts that are shaping our music future.

Forget fear. The question you should be asking is how artificial intelligence will fuel new forms of collaboration with humans across from making music to listening. Our panelists are deploying AI into instruments, generative composition platforms, recommendation platforms and music shapeshifting engines.

Immersion is here to stay. Music is using immersive and augmented content platforms more and more as its vessel of choice to our ears, or as companions to enhance our listening experiences. Our panel of start-up experts and performers will explore what the future of music access sounds and feels like. Seimei (TREKKIE TRAX) will close the discussion with an exclusive short set using Cotodama’s lyric visualisation platform in realtime alongside their performance.

Abbey Road Spatial Audio Forum

Music has made its move from mono to stereo to fully spatialised audio. The Abbey Road Red Spatial Audio forum was founded on the site where stereo was patented in 1933, Abbey Road Studios, to help usher spatial audio into our listening days. Our panel members from the forum and its founder will discuss how spatial audio will enter the music recording and production chain, how we will listen to it in the future and how they are working to make this a reality.
