The sequel to Mary Poppins offers an all-original new soundtrack, featuring the vocals of Emily Blunt, alongside the composing talents of Marc Shaiman.

Abbey Road senior engineer Andrew Dudman was also at the helm for the entire mixing and recording process. Andrew spoke to us about his role in the highly-anticipated Mary Poppins Returns:

“It was an absolute pleasure to work with Rob Marshall (Directing) again, for the first time with Marc Shaiman on the score and Marc with Scott Wittmann on the songs for the soon to be released Mary Poppins Returns film. The original Mary Poppins film has featured in most people's lives through its songs, and I’m incredibly fortunate to have contributed over the past two years to this amazing sequel.”

Listen to two of the compositions from the soundtrack:

Trip a Little Light Fantastic

Emily Blunt - The Place Where Lost Things Go

Mary Poppins Returns, is most definitely in keeping with the feel of the original. The new motion picture soundtrack features 27 tracks – nine of which are brand-new songs by composer Marc Shaiman , known for his work on Hairspray and The Addams Family, and lyricist Scott Wittman.

The Mary Poppins Returns soundtrack is available now.
