About the Panel

Georgia

Georgia Barnes is a Londoner, Producer and club-informed forward thinker. The self-titled debut Georgia album was both a statement of intent and an assured presentation of a life consumed by music, one spent alongside friends and accomplices Kate Tempest, Kwes and Micachu. Her 2020 album 'Seeking Thrills' is a record that blossoms into life, animated by Chicago House piano lines, vintage drum machines, and Georgia's bespoke street sass.

Shura

A self-taught producer and thoughtful songwriter, Shura brings a breezy and bittersweet touch to the revival of '80s and '90s pop and R&B sounds popular in the late 2010s. After introducing her gauzy, nostalgic style on 2016's 'Nothing's Real', she added more maturity and energy on later releases like 2019's 'Forevher'.

Cosha

Cosha is a singer, songwriter and producer from Wicklow, Ireland.

After arriving in London on her own aged 17 and experiencing a whirlwind start to her professional music career as backing singer for Nao and then front person for Mura Masa (for whom she has performed hundreds of times & with whom she has 3 Grammy nominations), Cosha settled into her own solo recording career with the release of R.I.P Bonzai in 2018. The lead single from that 12-track mixtape ‘Do You Wanna Dance’ was A-Listed at 6Music and the surrounding buzz saw Cosha feature in Vogue Magazine, The Fader and Wonderland amongst other publications.

Having spent the two years since that mixtape working mostly in LA and touring ‘R.I.P Bonzai’ with her dancers, Cosha returns in 2020 with warm-up track ‘No Kink In The Wire’ from her debut album ‘Mount Pleasant’. ‘Mount Pleasant’ is a record like no other. It shifts smoothly from RnB to alternative indie to Irish folk as it weaves its way through 11 new tracks. Co-written with a who’s who of record producers inc Emile Haynie (Kanye West, Lana Del Rey), Rostam (Vampire Weekend, Clairo), Koreless (FKA Twigs) and Mura Masa, it is a unique and world class record.

Cosha’s visual partners for ‘Mount Pleasant’ include Bert Bannerman who has directed videos for all 3 singles. Having learned his trade as longtime Assistant Director for Frank Le Bon (A$AP Rocky, King Krule, Mount Kimbie), Bert - like Cosha - is now stepping out on his own as a creative and his innovative 3-D videos should cause almost as much of a stir as Cosha’s music. Add photography from Lillie Eiger (The XX’s longtime collaborator) and Roger Weiss plus graphics from typography phenomenon Alice Gavin and you have a glittering array of new creative talent.

Hannah V

A pioneer in a new generation of entrepreneurial female producer/songwriters, Hannah V has worked with some of the world’s most in-demand major label artists including Stormzy, JP Cooper, and TOBi.

After producing and co-writing tracks for JP Cooper’s Top 10 album Raised Under Grey Skies (Island Records) in 2017, Hannah scored her first Gold-certified album and now continues to regularly produce tracks for JP Cooper - including his 2020 Too Close - Live Acoustic EP, recorded at Abbey Road Studios. In December 2020, Raised Under Grey Skies surpassed 1 million units sold globally, as well as over 1.5 billion streams.

Other writing and production credits include five-time GRAMMY-winning Lalah Hathaway, Yola, Misha B, Shystie and MOBO nominated artist Andreya Triana. Hannah was appointed to the Ivors Academy Songwriting Committee in 2020, as well as their Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Group.

Alongside her undeniable skills as a songwriter and producer Hannah has balanced a stunning performance career. Her performances included playing stadiums and arena tours with Rihanna, Jessie J, Eminem, Lalah Hathaway, Jason Derulo, Taio Cruz and Anastasia.

Hannah is regularly commissioned by top global brands for her tracks. Her single ‘It Ain’t Right’ became the soundtrack to Rimmel’s global campaign The Only One, and her track ‘Gold’ with Andreya Triana receives regular commissions, most recently in major campaigns for Michelob Gold and Nissan. She has also been involved in brand and writing campaigns for companies as diverse as the BBC, Max Factor, Adidas and international coffee brand Julius Meinl. Hannah V is a global brand ambassador for Yamaha, Focusrite, Arturia and Native Instruments.

The masterclass will take place on Friday 5 March - 18:00-19:00PM GMT. You can sign up here.
