The First Abbey Road Hackathon: A Story of Inspiration

Partnering with Microsoft and Miquido, our Abbey Road Red department created this inspirational event, bringing together 100 developers, scientists and music producers over a weekend in November. The intense 36-hour Hackathon competition, covered a variety of accelerated challenges around the future evolution of music creation.

The inventions and unusual atmosphere of the hack inspired Prem, Novelist’s brother and producer (MMMYEH Recordings), to create a futuristic cinematic piece which then became the soundtrack to illustrate the amazing scenes from Studio One.
