Introducing our brand new I Am The Walrus kids range, inspired by The Beatles’ 1967 classic. This wonderful new kids collection was inspired by the fab four’s 1967 hit, I Am The Walrus; a continuation on the band’s psychedelic style of songwriting during the summer of love, featuring on their Magical Mystery Tour EP which soundtracked the film of the same name. The idea for the track itself was conceived by John Lennon during the summer of 1967, with the goal in mind to be a nonsense song that could confuse those trying to dissect its lyrics. The Walrus character was taken from Lewis Carrol’s 1872 poem The Walrus and The Carpenter, which has now been beautifully brought to life in these fantastic products.Take the Willie The Walrus plush toy from Jellycat, for example. His cocoa-cream fur, suedey tusks, flappy flippers and furry moustache are perfect for kids aged two and over. Nothing helps those little ones get off to sleep quicker than a bed-time story. So why not get them There’s A Walrus In My Bed; an adorable children’s book from author and illustrator Ciara Flood, featuring clear text and glorious full-page images, perfect for 3-6 year old’s.Decorate the walls with vibrant oranges and pastel blue hues with this psychedelic 10x8 I Am The Walrus print, the ideal addition to any kid’s bedroom.
