The long awaited all-new studio album, It's About Time, from our Chief Creative Advisor, Nile Rodgers and The CHIC Organisation, is due to be released this Friday the 28th November, their first album in 26 years. The album amplifies the bands legacy by testing the boundaries of pop music, and is a modern day interpretation of the iconic musical language crafted by the multi-award winning composer and producer. It's About Time is a reflection of Nile's unique and evolving career which breaks the barriers of genres, featuring a wide variety of talented artists from Craig David, Mura Masa, Lady Gaga, Stefflon Don, Emeli Sande and Vic Mensa. The album was part recorded and mastered at Abbey Road Studios.

We interviewed Nile about his new release and discussed the relevance of the album as a body of work and his vision for this project. Nile explained I look at an album as a snapshot of the world around me, not necessarily the world as it exists around me, it may also be a period of time that's how CHIC started.
