Inside Abbey Road: Through the Lens of Jill Furmanovsky

17th December 2018
Earlier this year at the Barbican Centre, prolific and well-loved rock photographer Jill Furmanovsky showcased her finest music photography taken throughout the decades at Abbey Road Studios.

From candid shots of Pink Floyd in the control room, to intimate portraits of some of the most renowned musical legends to frequent the studios – Inside Abbey Road offered a unique and personal insight into the long and decorated history of the studios and the artists working within it.

Furmanovsky joined Abbey Road Studios as Artist in Residence in 2017, but has photographed artists and bands at the studio since 1975. Her recent work at the studios features Nile Rodgers, Royal Blood, Novelist, Mura Masa, and many more artists, as the addition of two new studios welcomes the next wave of musical talent.
