Photos From The 2024 Abbey Road Music Photography Awards Nominees Will Be Exhibited At Outernet This Month

The shortlisted nominations for the Abbey Road Studios Music Photography Awards 2024 have been announced! The MPAs is proud to say that over 22,000 images were entered this year, an increase of over 40% from 2023, with entries from over 28 different countries. Izzy Nuzzo, Tom Pallant, AF Cortes & Lorenzo Reali are all now double MPA nominees, having been featured in last year’s shortlist. Among the global artists that feature within the shortlisted images this year are Blur, Drake, Fred again.., Shabaka Hutchings, Travis Scott and Yves Tumor.

A very warm welcome to mastering engineer Stefan Brown! Stefan has been immersed in music from a young age, thanks to his father who owned a renowned record store in Soho. This sparked a lifelong passion for diverse genres like rock, metal, gothic rock, noise, electronic, techno, industrial, trap and drill. Growing up surrounded by hi-fi setups, he developed a keen ear for quality sound and a habit of studying the credits on record sleeves, particularly fascinated by mastering engineers.
