The 1975 Release ‘A Brief Inquiry Into Online Relationships’, Part Recorded at Abbey Road

30th November 2018
The much anticipated new album from The 1975, A Brief Inquiry Into Online Relationships is released today. Receiving four and five star reviews across the board, the band’s third album has been described by Pitchfork as 'outrageous and electric', by NME as ‘the millennial answer to OK Computer’ and by the Washington Post as ‘proof they can do it all’.

The band came to Abbey Road to record an orchestra in Studio Two engineered by Chris Bolster, assisted by Toby Hulbert & Daniel Hayden, moving to Studio Three to record the London Community Gospel Choir, again engineered by Chris Bolster, assisted by Daniel Hayden.

Matt Healy told Rolling Stone about coming to Abbey Road to produce No Rome ahead of the album sessions: ‘I didn’t want to sit around in my old house where I used to get high, do you know what I mean? I wanted to be doing something positive’.

A Brief Inquiry Into Online Relationships is available on vinyl now.
