From collaborations with the likes of Skepta, Chase & Status and Jamie xx to receiving MOBO and BBC Sound poll nominations, Novelist is the young grime MC with a unique spirit and creativity. A man of principles, he’s one of the key voices of grime's new wave.

 

He spent some time recording in Abbey Road’s new studio The Gatehouse with JD. Reid, resulting in the track Ready – part of JD. Reid’s new EP entitled Calibrate, out now on Rinse. The sessions were engineered by Gordon Davidson who’s looking forward to having Novelist back at Abbey Road very soon.
