American Assassin, the new movie by Michael Cuesta is out today in cinemas. The score, composed by Steven Price (Academy Award winner for his revolutionary score to Gravity) was recorded in Studio One with Abbey Road engineers Sam Okell and John Barrett. It was mixed at Abbey Road by Gareth Cousins and mastered by our Christian Wright.

Good friend of the studios, the super talented Steven Price described his experience recording American Assassin: “It was great to record and mix the American Assassin score at Abbey Road. Recording a wide range of different ensembles, from full orchestra to a solo glass harmonica, with Studio One adding its own beautiful overtones, we took full advantage of the studio’s mighty mic and outboard collection to create the sort of layered and suspenseful score our director was looking for.
