Toby has been exploring and experimenting with sound recording since school. This early passion led him to study Sound Technology at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts where he honed his skills and deepened his understanding of the music industry.

After uni, Toby began freelance assisting around London, working for vocal producer Cameron Gower Poole and helping to tune, edit and prep vocals on major pop productions for Jax Jones, Henry Moodie and Sofia and the Antoinettes. Meanwhile he assisted and engineered sessions at Blue Bell Hill Studios, working across the studio’s Music Production retreat with renowned engineers like Barny Barnicott and Jim Abbiss.

Toby joined the Abbey Road team in 2025 and has hit the ground running on projects for Jordan Rakei, Daniel Pemberton and Steven Price. He’s looking forward to further developing his craft and playing a big part in our next chapter.
