Born in Birmingham, Nia is a multi-instrumentalist, producer and sound engineer. After completing a degree in music at Goldsmiths University of London, Nia received a scholarship to the Abbey Road Institute studying sound engineering and production.

In addition to hosting a monthly radio show on popular London-based platform Balamii, Nia has developed a career freelancing in studios across London (including Young Space, The Room Studios & The Plush House).

Since starting at Abbey Road, Nia has had the opportunity to work with artists such as Nia Archives, Robyn, Candenza, Joe Armon Jones and Ezra Collective. She’s also played a key role in this year’s Abbey Road Equalise; a series of panels & hands-on masterclasses aimed at the next generation of female and non-binary artists and creatives.
