Ed is a London-based recording engineer and producer with extensive experience working at some of the UK’s most prestigious recording studios. He began his career at Battery Studios in Willesden, where he developed his skills under the mentorship of renowned producers Alan Moulder and Flood. After four years, he joined us here at Abbey Road, further honing his expertise in score recording and film production.
Recently, Ed has worked on projects such as War Child’s HELP(2), engineering for Arctic Monkeys, Cameron Winter and Foals, as well as the Grammy Award-winning album Gloria by Sam Smith, the Grammy-nominated I Inside the Old Year Dying by PJ Harvey and Love Will Survive by Barbra Streisand and Hans Zimmer. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with some of the biggest names in music, including Kid Harpoon, James Ford, Catherine Marks, Rich Costey, David Wrench, Ken Scott, Hildur Guðnadóttir, Jimmy Napes, Nile Rodgers, Danny Elfman, Lewis Capaldi and Fontaines D.C.
