Mobile Recording

The expertise and equipment at Abbey Road made available to locations worldwide by the Abbey Road mobile recording unit. Comprising of flight-cased equipment designed to create the best possible studio conditions within a venue.

The history of the mobile is closely associated with our recording engineers and EMI Classics, having followed its artists to venues across the world since the 1940’s.

In recent times the services have been extended to recording film scores, overdubs and live concerts. This service includes access to the full complement of Abbey Road’s microphone collection, experienced technical support and the ability to record in all analogue and digital formats.

We can also help advise on the choice of location for your project through our experience of venues, concert halls and orchestras throughout the UK and abroad.
