"There Will be Blood" based upon the novel 'Oil!' by Upton Sinclaire and directed by Paul Thomas Anderson has picked up an Evening Standard British Film Award for Best Film Score and has received eight academy award nominations, a golden globe for best actor and five New York film critics online awards including winner, best music/score for Johnny Greenwood.
Recorded and mixed by Abbey Road engineer Simon Rhodes and mastered by Abbey Road engineer Geoff Pesche; Jonny Greenwood's score is claimed to be "captivating...greatly contributing to the sense that tectonic forces lie beneath the drama."
