There Will be Blood

Paul Thomas Andersons multiple award winning epic "There Will Be Blood" features Jonny Greenwood's original soundtrack recorded, mixed and mastered at Abbey Road Studios.

"There Will be Blood" based upon the novel 'Oil!' by Upton Sinclaire and directed by Paul Thomas Anderson has picked up an Evening Standard British Film Award for Best Film Score and has received eight academy award nominations,  a golden globe for best actor and five New York film critics online awards including winner, best music/score for Johnny Greenwood.

Recorded and mixed by Abbey Road engineer Simon Rhodes and mastered by Abbey Road engineer Geoff Pesche; Jonny Greenwood's score is claimed to be  "captivating...greatly contributing to the sense that tectonic forces lie beneath the drama."  "On a craft and technical level, the film is of the highest quality, not least in the sound department, where the mix is exceedingly complex and expressive." (Variety)

The music is performed by the BBC Concert Orchestra led by Robert Ziegler, the Emperor Quartet, Caroline Dale (cello), and Michael Dussek (piano).
