A musician at heart, George grew up playing trumpet and bass guitar in bands that would go on to tour the UK, including slots at festivals such as Glastonbury and Green Man. In 2013, George graduated from the Tonmeister course in music and sound recording at the University of Surrey. Following this he went on to work as a technician at the Purcell School of Music and a runner at London's Air Studios before starting at Abbey Road in 2014.
With an eclectic music taste and an interest in the power and effectiveness of film scores, Abbey Road's broad ranging roster of musicians and ensembles was a natural fit. George has worked on the scores for many Hollywood productions including back to back Best Soundtrack Oscar winning scores The Shape of Water (Alexandre Desplat) and Black Panther (Ludwig Göransson).
George has also worked with some of the biggest names in pop and rock, including Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift, Noel Gallagher, Jess Glynne and Bastille.
