In 1998 Chris decided to try his luck in the land afar, 5 weeks later he joined Abbey Road Studios, broadening and developing his recording knowledge along with his technique while working across a diverse range of musical projects and genres. He quickly developed a real passion for the studio’s acoustics, as well as its wealth of modern and vintage equipment still in service.
Chris has worked on Motion Picture soundtracks for Beyond the Sea, Harry Potter, Punch Drunk Love and 12 Years A Slave. and surround DVD production work - for artists including The Beatles, Coldplay, George Harrison, John Lennon, Paul McCartney, Placebo and Travis.
He was also involved in the live broadcast recording for the Live From Abbey Road Series, working with Bat for Lashes, Blondie, Civil Wars, Doves, Fesit, Foals, Florence + the Machine, Gossip, Gregg Allman, The Killers and Yusuf, as well as the Absolute Radio Acoustic sessions were he engineered for Beady Eye, Of Monsters and Men, Mumford and Sons, Suede and Tom Odell.
