27 February 2012

The Artist triumphed at the 84th Annual Academy Awards, taking home five Oscars including Best Original Score and Best Picture.

The score to the heart-warming French film, composed by Ludovic Bource, was mastered through our online service by Peter Mew at Abbey Road studios. Peter says of the project: "It is an absolute pleasure to have worked on Ludovic's fantastic score."

Other superb wins for the studios included Hugo, which picked up five awards and The Iron Lady with two.

The Artist also dominated the 69th Golden Globe Awards, with three wins including Best Original Score.

Further Abbey Road projects taking home the coveted awards were My Week with Marilyn, The Iron Lady, W.E. and Hugo.

Congratulations to everyone who worked on these amazing films for their well-deserved awards.
