Nominations for the 2012 Golden Globe Awards have been announced, with many Abbey Road Studios projects in the running.
Howard Shore’s soundtrack for Hugo, recorded by Simon Rhodes in Studio One, has received three nominations including Best Original Score.
Also up for Best Original Score is Abel Korzeniowski’s soundtrack for W.E, recorded by Andrew Dudman in Studio One. In addition, the track Masterpiece is nominated for Best Original Song – Motion Picture.
Other shortlisted Abbey Road-recorded films include The Ides of March with four nominations, My Week with Marilyn with three, and The Iron Lady, Arthur Christmas, In the Land of Blood and Honey and Gnomeo & Juliet with one each.
