Lewis Jones - Recording & Mixing
Biography
Lewis has worked across a wide range of musical genres and has extensive knowledge of analogue and digital formats. His love of music, film and technology complement his diversity and style as a Recording Engineer. After graduating from Royal Holloway University in 1998 with a Bmus, Lewis joined Lansdowne & CTS studios as a runner. He quickly advanced to assisting on a wide variety of projects ranging from TV scores, library music and album projects to technically demanding film scoring. Lewis proceeded to engineering for composers Gavin Greenway, John Lunn, Chris Gunning, Dominique Muldowney and Clint Mansell.
In 2006 he joined Abbey Road Studios and has continued to work on a diverse range of projects, most recently the scores for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows and Gnomeo and Juliet. Recent engineering includes recording and mixing the Kick4Life charity single 'We're England Underneath'.
Lewis was promoted to the position of Recordist in April 2012.
