Studio Two's New Isolation Booths

Studio Two's New Isolation Booths

13th October 2016

Studio Two at Abbey Road is perhaps the most iconic recording space in the world. It has been home to many of the most legendary recordings in music history, from The Beatles, Pink Floyd and Kate Bush to Radiohead, Oasis and Adele. Its unique design, warm acoustics and unparalleled history have made it one of the most sought after studios in the world.

In response to today’s production & engineering needs, we have now enhanced the studio with the addition of two new isolation booths. To preserve the fabric, structure, acoustics and magic of this historic room, we were able to make use of existing spaces for the new booths. The smaller isolation booth makes use of the original ground floor control room, while the large booth was previously a microphone store. The back of the control room and machine room have also been remodelled to allow visitors access to a new lounge area.

Check out the new spaces and client reactions in the video below.
